No, sorry, it'll never look just as it did when new because the red dye has leached out. I hope you haven't put it in the dryer yet, because that will set the dye even more. It is possible a dry-cleaner might be able to help, but frankly, this is one of the worst dye combos to repair.

A ray of hope: you can CAREFULLY use a diluted bleach and warm water solution (1/4 cup bleach to 1 cup water) and a paintbrush to the vanilla portions which have been stained with red. Do this on the dry comforter. ONLY paint the bleach/water solution on the vanilla fabric. Blot off the solution after the red fades away. The vanilla color will probably lighten to white, but at least it won't be so obviously red. Line dry the comforter.

In the future, only dry-clean a mixed fabric article, especially if you don't know if the fabrics' dyes are "fixed" and won't run.

No use it for a curling up in on the floor. You probably wash it in hot water. White clothes - Hot water; Mix color-Warm water and Darks-Cold water.

If you dried it in a dryer, you will likely have a pink color forever. If not, try washing it several times.
