Depends who becomes the next leader. Who has the charisma and personality to be electable? I don't think Gordon Brown is the man for the job , might be a good chancellor but he isn't a leader of men. It will help that Prescott is standing down. But I do hope they win, don't want to return to the bad old days of sky high interest rates and high unemployment.

I think it will be difficult. Tony Blair has been an excellent Prime Minister, though not everyone would agree with that! The living standards in Britain have gone up, unemployment has gone down. Pensioners get help with their winter payments and schools are better off.
It depends who is the next leader and if the British public are sensible and vote Labour so that our prosperity continues.
Personally, I hope Labour does get in.

I can remenber the sheer hatred of good decent folks by the last lot. And the rancour still lingers in some quarters. So, yes I did celebrate when they got theirs in '97.
That does not mean I adore the current administration. It reeks of self adulation. Spin? Spin on this !! However, the 'self' is a culture more sinister than society. What a good democracy needs is a dose of hunger. Lets go for a nearly hung Parliament. With just a tad of executive edge. Then Brown will be the new red!! Ho ho

I hope none of the main stream parties get in, its time for a rethink on common sense vote for a party that you agree with. There are others like the united kingdom party to consider which is more in line with the people of Britain, it's time to consider the British for a change. You have also got BNP and many other parties. UKIT is probably the best proposition

I think Brown will have to strike out on a different line from Blair, and ironically steal some of Cameron's clothes: he'll have to say "no" to Bush publically and show some green policies.

Just write on the election form none of the above. If enough do it they will all have to try a bit harder. Trouble is the lies may get a bit deeper.!

God I hope not. It was one of the worst days of my life when New Labour came to power.
