Has anyone been seperated where you could'nt contact each other for a year?

Yeah, in the military. I was in a SF group and sometimes we just pick up and go. Longest was a little over a year and we jumped around all over the world. Of course the relationship fell apart. You have to realize you chose that career and of course if they married you, they chose you in that career. But its harder, much harder for them.
