in Outlook, go to your security settings under 'Tools" > options> security and unclick view attachments under virus protection and attachment headings

The solution to your problem depends on what you are using. If you are using Outlook Express go to Tools-Options, click on the Security Tab and uncheck the box next to "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus"

This is a useless feature of Outlook Express because it simply blocks any attachment whether it is a potential virus or not. If you are using Outlook Express I recommend you switch to Thunderbird.

If you are accessing your mail through Yahoo!'s web based mail, it again depends on your browser. Firefox should display a message at the top when blocking certain components of a page and you can allow it from a menu next to the notification message.

In Internet Explorer it may depend on your Security and Privacy settings. I'm not even going to try to explain how to adjust these because IE is a useless browser. Rather use Firefox.

The most common reason for this problem is a cluttered Browser Cache. Try cleaning this and see if it helps. This site has the instructions for different browsers.

If that doesn't solve the problem then tell the Yahoo mail team so they can correct it.
