"Be My Vision" by Twila Paris
Her songs are stated to be inspired by the perennial garden at her home. Despite little maintenance It resurrects itself each spring. This and her other song also reflect such necessary and comforting cycles. While not her most powerful work this hymns-yes hymn rather than a song creats a space and mood for worship. I am not a believer but when I hear the song I earnestly, despite my convictions,yearn for being a believer. That is the basic task of any art form-to lift you up.
