CSI Vegas has wit, character, intelligence, and a hint of darkness.

CSI New York reeks of phony science, boring and inane plots, and a big dose of money-grubbing desperation. Besides that, who would buy Sinise as an ex-marine?

Peterson has always been aloof and interesting to watch. Try watching him in "Manhunter" (1986) the ORIGINAL version of the "Red Dragon" film. Brian Cox ("X-Men", "Bourne ____" movies) made for an interesting Hannibal Lecter.

WILLIAM PETERSEN.

don't even get me started on the other CSI shows (NY and Miami). Vegas is the original, the best cast, the only one worth watching.
