Don't you just hate Global warming deniers, most of them have no background in science

I see the whole Earth as a closed system
we burn a few logs for a fire, the cumulative mass of the system stays the same.
as far as global warming/freezing/cloudiness, the Earth as a system is many thousands of years old, recorded history is only 200 yrs, tops
would you pick 200 people in Washington DC (or Alaska, or Texas) and say that's typical of all of earthlings?
or say we noticed a 15 year old boy, he grew 1 inch last year, 2 inches this year. Can we say in five years is he will grow 12 inches taller?
no, that would be silly
so we have data on the environment
30 years ago, scientists warned of the next ice age
now the scientists warn of global warming
the data set is too small to make accurate predictions

i have a box in my basement i keep all the smoke and chemicals in, its getting kinda full, but i still have room for another 40 or 50 years worth.

Not sure what the world is gonna do at that point, maybe you will let us keep a box in your basement?
