Every year around this time these little black bug come around and mess up the front of your car. When do they leave?

They come in May and September and last for about 2 weeks. You never see one alone as they are always mating and were part of a lab experiment that was accidentally let out the window. They are everywhere and will ruin your paint job on the car if you do not wash them off.

As long as their life cycle hasn't changed much since I lived in Orlando, you should only have a couple of weeks left of those things. I lived in Orlando a little more than 6 years ago and had never seen Love Bugs until I moved there (I'm from Canada). If I remember correctly, they ended aroudn the time of Canadian Thanksgiving that year or a little bit after.
So, don't worry, you probably don't have too much left of dealing with them.

they usually hang around through the beginning to middle of october. they are finally petering out. once the weather starts to chill and the females finish their men off - we'll be all set for another year!!!

I believe they have two cycles in May and Sept. and last for about a month.

Oh, aren't they just disgusting!! Make sure you wash your car really good because they have acid in them and it will ruin your paint job.
