I made plans to go out with my friend to a special event this weekend (we made these plans about a month ago). She has now met a new guy and will not go to the event with me. I am feeling a little put out. What should I say to her?

i would say i know you are with (insert name here) but we made these plans way in advance i really don't want to go by myself cant you be without him for one day? it really hurts that you are chosing him over me.

ask her if she could go with whats his face another day. she already made plans with you, and that should be more important than some new guy she met.

go to the event have fun tell her all about it and keep on being her friend the tables may turn one day and you may do the same thing.
