A little story for you: a few months after I had my first child (I was breastfeeding, also), Burger King had a 2 for the price of 1 sale on Whoppers. I was always tired around dinnertime, so I figured I'd pick up a Whopper for me, and wrap up the other one for my husband when he got home from work. The first Whopper never made it through the doorway, and the 2nd one got eaten about an hour after I got home. BTW, I gained 27 pounds during the pregnancy and lost 35 (ending weight: 115 pounds).
So, the moral of the story is, so what if you're eating like your still pregnant? Just eat healthy for the baby's sake and yours, and enjoy the excess calorie burning of breastfeeding while you can! :)

yes that happens. you still have to eat an extra 300 calories when you are breastfeeding. It is a lot coming out of you, so your body asks you for more.

When you are breastfeeding you are always hungry because your body is craving food since you are giving to your baby

If your breastfeeding then it is alright to eat like your pregnant. You need those extra calories.
