it itches and it hurts when i rub it. could it be cancer/

It is probably a boil. How long have you had it? To my knowledge cancer doesnt hurt or itch. A boil is basically a pimple that is ingrown it didnt come out thats why it hurts and itches. Have it checked out if it doesnt come out or pop. Give it about a week or two. Dont freak out it doesnt help! You are fine.

Go to the doctor, and if you do not have the money, look in the phone book/google for a consulting nurse in your area (usually a hospital will tell you where to reach one). Also, ask your parents or someone close to you. "Mystery Lumps" are never a good thing to have around the equipment zone.

You might want to go to an Infectious Disease Specialist. It sound like you might a staph infection called follicilitis or something like that. Look in the phone book under Internal Medicine/Infectious Disease Specialty.

It could be a cyst. They may need to be lanced or drained. You can have them surgically removed but they will usually come back. You should see a doctor.

It could just be a shaving bump or herpes I would have it looked at just to make sure it is nothing serious good luck.

sounds like a nyph gland, you can get antibyotics for it, but ya need to c the doc for the doseage, they appear for the hell of it to make us worry, c ya doc

It's probably a cyst. Take yourself to the Dr. and have him drain it.

its most likely to be a blocked hair follicle ingrown hair exfoliate well if no joy antibiotics
