my great grandfather had green eyes and had 5 children one with blue eyes two with green eyes and and two with brown eyes.... my grandmother was one of the ones with brown eyes and my mother came out with brown eyes my father also has brown eyes as do i...........is it posible for my children to have blue or green eyes?

Brown eyes are dominant, but if you are a carrier of another color, then yes your children can have blue or green eyes.
Since your great grandfather did not have brown eyes, it's quite possible that you do carry other eye color genes.
It also depends on the father's eye color.

yes it is possible to have children with blue or green eyes if your eyes are brown as long as your genetics are Bb. Dominant with recessive gene. Unless you marry someone who is either African American or Indian or some race that has dominant brown. That one wins over most often.

Yes, it is possible, but more than likely your children will have brown eyes since brown seems to be a dominant feature in your family.

Basically both, you and your husband have to carry the recessive gene (blue eye gene) in order for your children to have blue eyes. When your child is formed by the 2 of your DNA they have to end up with the recessive gene from you and the recessive gene from your partner.

yep.. those genes are hiding in your DNA... if their father's has some in his.. then it's possible to have all kinds of variations...
