Tarrentino has never revealed the contents,

thories say that it is marcelluses soul which escaped through the plaster on his neck.

others say that there are two oscars in there. This has some weight to it, Mia is a failed actress so its an apt preasent plus the Tim Roth character asks "are they what i thnk they are, they are beautifiul"

If you can think of something else then again its probably been theorised about since the films release!

From the golden glow that comes out of the suitcase, it would lead me to believe it is gold in there... I could be wrong... It could be alot of yellow glowsticks for use in his many clubs that Marcelas wallace owns?
Jules opened the suitcase first in the apartment with the kahuna burger fella... And i didn't even know anything about wallaces' soul being in the suitcase... You learn something new every day!
I have a plaster on the back of my neck and i feel increasingly depressed.. Is my soul leaving me?

The briefcase retrieved by Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield in the film Pulp Fiction contained the soul of their boss, Marsellus Wallace.

The soul of Ving Rhames' character Marcellus Wallace.

The film is 'Pulp Fiction', not 'Plup Fiction'. The case was opened by Jules, not Vincent, and it contained Marsellus Wallace's soul, as could be confirmed by earlier shots of Marsellus with a cross of band-aids on the back of his neck which is the area, anecdotally, from which the soul can be removed.

Soleil has it right it's a device used in filmmaking. Even Quinten has said there's nothing in the suitcase - but I must say that I've heard really convincing arguments that it's Marcelis' soul.

The item or items in the suitcase was never revealed, so it is up to your own imagination. It is meant for you to draw your own conclusions, but meaning it was an object of value.....
