For my dream band it would have to be:

Rick Ruhl - Vocals
Glenn Danzig - Keyboards
Mark Slaughter - Rhythm Guitar
Angus Young - Lead Guitar
Tupac - Bass and Vocals
Chris Slade - Drums

The reasons are because these are the best in the business as far as I can say! Rick Ruhl has the best voice EVER!!!!!!!!

Ozzy Osbourne - Lead vocals
Tommy Lee - Drums
Nikki Sixx - Bass
Zakk Wylde and Joe Perry - Guitar

I would have Ozzy on vocals because I love him like no other.
Tommy Lee - I haven't heard a drummer I like better
Nikki Sixx - He's the man. Plays a mean bass
Zakk Wylde and Joe Perry should require no explanation

Steve Vai - lead guitar (and poor old Rory Gallagher - brought back from the dead - well it is a dream after all). Jack Bruce - bass, Bonzo (also back from dead) - drums, Me - drums (natch),The Memphis Horns, Aretha Franklin and Gladys Knight - backing vocals, John Lennon (you know the routine by now) - rhythm guitar and vocals, Joe Cocker - lead vocal. And the whole lot arranged by Andy Fairweather Low.
p.s. - Paul Weller would often appear.
p.p.s. - so would Roger Waters.

My dream band was a real band- Joy Division! No band, real or otherwise could beat Ian Curtis' lyrics and vocals, and the superb instrumentals.
