simple,
go to start-run type in cmd
Then type in ipconfig /all
there u will find default gateway. It would be some thing like 192.168.xxx.xx .
Take a note of that and from ur broswer, type that in. You might need a username and password [contact ur isp for that].

Hope that helps.
Cheers!

Each one is published on the makers website. D-link If I remember correctly is 192.168.100.1 To log into the router it's not a big secrete unless the owner of said router changed the login password.

Oh and the IPs posted on the websites are true if the owner idn'tchange that either (that is a possibility too, you can change the default gateway to 192.168.***.1 "*" representing any number from 1-255) so if you are unsuccessful loging in with the IP provided you have 254 other options left.

It relies upon on your router. in the adventure that your router is functioning simply by fact the dhcp server on your interior community then it must be the default gateway. Now there could be a reason your seeing the modem no longer the router, yet that could desire to in easy terms be if the modem is likewise a router and the router is desperate as much as in easy terms be a swap. maximum modems are no longer routers and could in no way show simply by fact the default gateway. whilst related directly to a modem the default gateway could be the ISP's router no longer the modem. If for some reason the modem is unquestionably a router and your connecting a 2d router to it as a swap for say a on the spot get right of entry to factor, then you definately could desire to look on the modems configuration to discover the routers assigned IP handle. as quickly as you recognize the routers IP it extremely is the handle you could desire to indicate at to get to the routers configuration monitors.

hmmm - it's router-dependent. Our thingummyjig office router can be accessed using a web browser by typing in the address bar

http://192.168.1.1:3535

i think that's right - I guessed the port number from vague memory. For many, you need the port number as well as the rest (that's the bit after the colon). For some you might need https instead of http.

i think you can only connect to the router you are accessing the internet with - as with previous answers - netgear http ://192 etc
try looking on the actual router you are using for an address similar to the ones given in all the other answers

mine has an address/user name/password

hi, try a more secure browser.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

on the expensive cisco routers you cant log in through a web based interface. you would have to use telnet or something similar, but i doubt you have a router like that.
