Rambler is a ranch-style house, green-belt is a strip of grass or a wooded area behind the house.

Green belt is an area of the country that is more greenery then some where else. IE One part of the Green belt goes right through Texas. East of Dallas is Green and west of Fort Wort is brown sand with very little greenery.

In washington in particular a green belt is a swampy-forest type thing behind your house. A rambler is a type of house, i'm sure other people explained what it is.

Rambler = One story house, often called "Ranch" in other parts of the country.

Green belt = Small lawn
