i was looking at maps on google,& i saw a satelite image of my home.pretty cool.so i was just wondering (title)..

Most do. But all in different ways. Some look at infrared to see the temperature of the air, ground and waters for whether studies. Others use various microwaves to watch for earth movements and gather geological data. Some are spy satellites for military and police that can see your licence plate or whats on your plate for dinner at a picnic. Some are just for telephone, radio and TV signals. And some actually look away from earth to watch the stars. You would be amazed at just how many satellites there are up there. Check the NASA web site for more on the sat elites. You can actually tap into some of them and see what they see.

Some watch the ground all the time. Some like the Hubble Space Telescope looks away from earth all the time. There maybe some that can rotate enough to look at the ground and out into space.
