If I am in the mood for thought provoking intelligent conversation then the Republicans are the obvious choice. If weirdness and the ridiculous is what I'm after, then of course the Democrats would be a hoot to be with.

If I am seeking boring facts or processes, I seek out my Republican friends, but when I am in the mood for a good time which does not require putting anyone down, look to my democratic friends. General rule: Liberal are great people, Conservatives are great robots.

As an independent, Id rather hang with republicans, since they are much more likely to be friendly, and much more likely to keep their opinions to themselves. I think the only things that really piss them off are gays and abortion. besides that they really dont care.

Actually, I hang with both. To exclude someone because of their political feelings is divisive, abussive, and just plain ugly. Open your eyes, and see people for what they are: individuals with feelings, thoughts, and dreams.
