I leave mine open along with the blinds on nice evenings but I live in a low crime area too.
LOL Which isn't really smart because I also run around naked a vast majority of the time. Hmmm...Perhaps I SHOULD shut those blinds!

Depends on the weather. Windows open when it is cool outside, windows shut if it is hot outside and we run the cooler. My husband is obsessed with locking the doors which is silly if the windows are open. I sometimes lock them, sometimes don't when he isn't home, but we live in a very small mostly safe community so I don't worry too much about it. I'm more worried about bugs and critters getting in than I am people.

We lock all doors and windows except when it's really hot the just have the upstairs bedroom windows open a bit,

Years ago, they would be left unlocked/open, in todays world, last thing to do before going to bed is to check/lock all windows/doors.
What a change in the last 30 years!

I leave everything opened even when I go to work, The only time I close mine is when I leave for a wk or it's raining or cold outside. The closest city is 55 miles away from where I live.

why did you say we! is that a joke? anyway i have got patio bolts,
window bass latches and security cams all round. plus a dog. so i can sleep pretty comfortable with windows locked parshally open. and glass doors if need be.

LOCKED!! Used to be a time in this world that you could leave everything open at night but not anymore!! Especially NOT in FLORIDA!!
