Oh yes this is a common Left-handed scenario. Really good ink. The erasable ink is the worst. Try turning your note book on an right leaning angle so that the outside palm of your hand isn't rubbing directly over the fresh written work. Correctly holding your pen is essential for crystal clear handy work. Some Lefty's learn the "hook-style" of writing. Where they curve their hand around and down in sort of a hook shape avoiding the fresh written work. But it is very tiresome on your hand muscles.

nope. eventually you will find a way to hold your hand so that it happens less. That is why when you read a paper written by some left handed people it is at a very large angle. I used to be just like you. Now I wright at a very large angle, and it seams to work most of the time. Just keep turning the paper until you can write without making a mess. Teachers will not like it very much though. Tell them the problem you are having, and they will get over it.

The thing I do is write with my wrist bent and up above the paper. That gives the pen more time to dry before my hand runs over it. Its jut something you have to deal with, I guess. For note taking or stuff that requires fast writing, maybe a laptop or something like that may work better. Also, you could try a mini-recorder.

I'm left handed and I've had the same problem since I began to write. Just put the pen/pencil on the paper instead of your whole hand. That's what I always do.
