the cost per day ( 60 USD ) would include 5 classes, accomodation and 3 meals.... do you think it's worth it?
Would it be worth to go for 2-3 months?

yeah! for sure you should go. completely immersing yourself in the language you are trying to learn is the best way to learn it. it's also a pretty good price. mexico is pretty safe right now too, so i'd say YES!!! have fun too!

Sure! It's a good opportunity to be immersed in the language and culture. I almost did apply to do a semester abroad in University to improve my Spanish, and I do somewhat regret not taking the chance when it was there.

Anything short then 6 weeks is really a waste of time and money unless you have a very quick ear. You want the time to do more than learn words and phrases, you want time to become familiar with the grammar and structure of a language as well.

No..it would be cheaper to take a vacation in texas or california. There is plenty of spanish to be learned in those states lol =)

So you actually want to pay 60 bucks a day for 3 months to study spanish in mexico? Wow..

there are lots of differences between the spanish spoken in mexico and in spain. I'm spanish and the spanish I speak has nothing to do with the other one.
Mexicans tend to "sing" their sentences, and it sound really different. Spanish speak without stressing words..in a very linear way.
They also pronunce "c" as "s", when we pronunce it as your english "th" here in Spain. There's also a relevant difference in the way they say "j" like your "h", and here we say it very strong.

I would go to Mexico in a heart beat. But that is pretty expensive. Are you trying to seek advice or offer it? I would look for something less expensive. that would be at least a $4,000 trip... hmmm
