About psychics.........................................?

are they astral projecting to see the things that happened, or will happen?i mean when they go in trance, are they in the astral plan?

They see visions. Astal Projection is when you leave your body and go explore the universe. Everybody does it, you just don;t remember it.

- Neo Chalchus gave correct information. 'Trance' is indeed operating from "Alpha" brain wave activity. Astral projection is the etheric body visiting various locations.
- Every human being is psychic in that every human being has the potential to develop/use their different abilities. Not everyone DOES, but everyone does have the potential.
- To deliberately receive information, whether about possible future events or about current happenings, an individual most often will deliberately go into trance. Different people accomplish this in different ways.
- Some/many psychics have relationships with spirit guides who transmit information. Some/many psychics receive visions in their heads. Some/many psychics 'hear' the information or just 'know' it. I just depends on the individual.
- Generally, when psychics see things, they/we are not astral travelling. When they/we are in trance, they/we are still here :-), just operating on a different frequency. :-)

I have to tell you that you have a misperception of a 'true' psychic. The ones you must be thinking of are set up right across the the street from the tarot card and palm reader. A true psychic helps others without their knowledge. And we all have the ability to do what psychics can do, we just need to develop our perceptive states to their level. There are ways and means to do this. To reach the astral plane as you call it, requires exercises in expanding your awareness. You first start out with a basic routine and then eventually after you have attained a degree of progress, you go on to higher levels. This could take several years. It is dependent upon your current attainment of enlightenment which you may have reached in a past life or this one. I am very sincere in what I say.

Hi, yeah, I'm a psychic. I see the future, but other people can do other things such as telepathy and a ton of other things that I don't feel like listing. I have a few psychic friends. I live in a small town of freaks, by the way, I mean I know a werewolf, vampires, and other such freaks. But to answer your question, I don't think I'm part of some astral plan. Hope I helped.

Astral projection is the projection of your awareness tothe outside of your body. Most people mix up astral projection with remote viewing, which is getting random images from far away. When you "trance" it is just your mind going to a different brain wave set. We normally operate on "beta" brainwaves which means you are fully consiouse, when you go to theta or alpha brainwaves, you are in a state of meditation, trance, or hypnosis. As you go lower you get to sleep.
The astral plane has never been proven to exist. (Technically neither has projection, but it is very close to being recognized scientifically.) The astral plane is like projecting, but instead of going to the real world, you go to a wierd messed up dream-like place. THis has lead to discussion on whether the astral plane is just dreaming that you are projecting, and are having a lucid dream ( a dream that you are aware you are in a dream state and can therefor control the actions of the dream.)

Sometimes they are trying to see the future. But there are TONS of other things they can do. The possibilities are limitless! You can read records of the past, communicate with your dead grandma, make your cat turn blue, learn from dragons, and more.

They don't ALWAYS go to the astral when in a trance though. They could be meditating or hypnotizing themselves.

Sigh, it bugs me when people judge under the guise of religion. True psychic, and yes I am one of them, have images to come to thier minds, some are asked for others are just given. We don't pick and chose our visions hun. Yes there have been fakes out there and trust me, its no fun being judged upon thier actions.

As for visions, many of the psychics get thier information from meditations, dreams, and so on, some of us do use "tools" such as tarot cards, crystals, crystal balls, witches runes, pendulums (which is used in the bible by the way), and so on. As for myself, I use both meditation, cards and the pendulum for answers. A true psychic will tell you if they don't have anything for you, they will not lie to you. However you know the saying don't ask what you do not want to really know? That same thing really applies to us, if you don't want to know, don't ask. :-)

This is not science, it is belief, faith. Each "psychic" you speak to will have a different interpretation of what they do.

In my opinion, if they are honest, they are meditating and using mental imaging techniques to produce these images in their mind, much like a lucid dream-state.

But I believe that these images are their own subconscious mind providing them with images that are based upon their own experiences and nothing else.

Their experience can be real to them, and if you believe, it can help you alter your own future by giving you a suggestion to focus on.

The power is in your faith. The real question is, is this where you want to apply the power of your faith?
