These photos can be sent anywhere around the world and can be used to destroy someone's reputation and identity. Please, it is much safer to use an avatar or a photo of an object or pet!

I agree.

Avatars are interesting - it's what we think we look most like, or what we want people to think of when they "see" us.

I would not post a photo of myself, with all the wackos on the 'net.

Wow i never knew it was happening i think that is really helpful i think everyone should be warned about the situation and yahoo answers should send out e-mails 2 everyone with a yahoo answers account tellin them the situation.

if you post or email or use any of the online photo services your photos can be stolen... a picture of my grandaughter is floating around the net that was taken from Photobucket... that is one of the downsides of "the net"
