I am nudist myself and I want to know how you feel about nudity around your own children at your own home. what about nudity around your own children from others such as friends? Is nudity around your children acceptable outside your home such as nude beaches or a friends house or wherever its possible to be nude outside the home? Also how do you feel about nude swiming with your children or allowing your children to swim nude? anything else you can add would be great!!

being a nudist and having your kids start young at being nudists teaches them to respect others as you are seeing them for who they really are. If you go around nude while your kids are still young like between the ages of 1 & 4, they wont grow up thinking that its gross to see their parents nude and they will have more respect for the opposite sex and possibly sex in general. Just ask any nudist person or nudist group on yahoo and they will tell you this. cause being nudist doesnt involve sex or sexual acts.. it involves learning to accept people for who they are wether they are skinny, big(fat), ugly, sexy, black, white, or any kind of race or sexual orientation. It also helps teach males to see woman for things other than just sex as you learn to control your sexual thoughts or actions such as getting hard.

just so you know.. I am not a pervert and I am not a nudist for sexual reasons. Its a chosen lifestyle for me. Being a nudist doesnt mean I have to be naked 24/7. A lot of nudists were cloths more than they are nude because of the way society is today. Some are only able to enjoy the lifestyle at nudist beaches and resorts and those sorts of places. Also having my kids go around nude is not a sexual thing for me or my wife as some of you seem to think. Before you all blast me and think Im a pervert and all, please go read up on what being a nudist is all about and entails. I think youll be suprised!!

Hey nudist, why are you wearing clothes in your pic? I don't really think there should be any shame to being naked. I love to run around home naked. It's how we were born, but grew to be modest.

I believe that appropriate, non-sexual nudity is fine among family members. I would definitely not endorse any kind of sex around or with the kids... that's just perverted. But appreciation for the human form is a totally separate matter. People come in model A and model B... letting kids know about the differences isn't psychologically harmful. If the children want to be naked, that's OK, but if they wish to dress, that's their option as well. Non-sexual nudity obviously has several benefits, including creating a positive self-image. It can be quite liberating to know that the runway models are not representative of the mass population.

If you choose to raise your children as nudists, that is your choice, as long as there is no inappropriate touching going on. As far as your children's friends - clothing should always be required, since it is unlikely that your children's friends parents feel the same way you do. To a parent that does not believe nudity is ok, you would be abusing that child by being nude in front of them.
Personally, I think it would be confusing for the children to be raised in an environment that permits nudity while living in a culture that does not.

This is difficult as many cultures are just fine with nudity in front of children, and I don't think I've ever known a parent that didn't shower with very young children. I guess the judgemental part of me does not like the idea, but I really can't realistically see anything wrong with it. I would perhaps wait until your children are older and you can ask them how they feel about you being a nudist, and perhaps old enough not to go to school and talk about how they saw your penis on their summer vacation. haha.

Just so you will be aware -- your focus on nudity around children makes you sound like a pervert to people who are not nudists. Just to let you know.

Well being that I have three girls I feel its unacceptable. I try to instill a sense of modesty and pride in them. I would like them to know that their body is a sacred temple not to be shared or exploited with friends or family. And that it is wrong for anyone to see or touch their "private parts" My biggest fear as a mother is for one of my girls to be abused in any way shape or form. Don't get me wrong I don't think that being a nudest is a crime but I don't think that children should play any role in that lifestyle as long as they are children. Now if my girls grow up and want to run off to every nudest beach they can find I'll bid them a happy farewell and a safe return but as long as they are my responsibility I will do my best to keep them as sheltered as possible from any outside sexual influences. For me it's kinda like alcohol, not until they're old enough.

Nudity all together is just plain nasty. If you get married, have children and have a house. When the children wander around the house, if they see you naked, they will think that you are encouraging them to do it too; even when they get a house! It can be good too because it teaches you about the body and certain parts of the body. (I AM NOT SAYING THAT YOU SHOULD DO IT THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I think if that's the lifestyle you want, then fine but I would stay somewhat disceet around your kids. If they choose not to do that then don't discourage them.

personally,i think that there are just some things children do not understand, and i think one of them is adult behaviors towards nudity. it's kinda weird........and a whole lot questionable. you really ought to just keep this nudity thing to yourself. you could get in trouble, someone could call the cops , or cps, not understanding your point of view, and just think you are a perve. you could lose everything. i wouldn't risk that. and if you did get arrested, and convicted of something like.....exposing yourself to a minor, you'd have to register as a sex offender. do you really want that? think about it.
