My husband and i have been together since 2003 and married since 2004 and not once has he ever said he loves me. He has said so many times that to him love is cleaning and taking care of the other partner. What does a woman do when theres no spark in their marriage? Everyday he sleeps because he works night shifts then at night its a quick hello good night see you later. What do i do to make our marriage better and more romantic? we have three kids too, a 3 week old girl a one year old girl and a 2 and a half year old son.

Some think the words I Love You is used to loosely and I think that also although it is nice to hear it but the main part of love is showing it. Actions are better anyday than words. Start making a date night at least once a month. Talk with him and ask him about what you two could do to make you feel better about his love. If he provides and doesn't cheat then he should be willing to make sure you are happy also.

Set up a counseling appointment with a marital therapist. Inform him that you both need to be there at X time. Go until you begin communicating for the sake of the marriage and the children..
Been there done that.. It works.

Anyway, the trick is, YOU be as romantic as you want to be. Do for him what you want him to do for you. It is better to give than to receive.

As you know, there is no love like marital love. It thrives like a plant that is watered, when love is expressed. It shrivels, and dies and turns to hate when it is neglected and abused. You and your husband must make some "holding time"--time when he holds you and you tell him you love him. He will be richly blessed, when he tells you he loves you,too. I pray it comes soon.
