You will want to use a stroller! As you get on the plane, you can check the stroller and pick it up as soon as you land at your gate.
Use the stroller to take her into the bathroom with you...probably a family restroom or handicap sized!
It's not as bad as you think it will be! I just took my little ones on a 13 hour flight to Germany and had a few lay-overs and the stroller was a HUGE help!
Enjoy your trip!

Put her in her stroller and take her into the handicap stall while using the restroom.
All airlines will allow you to take your strollers on the plane. Before you board, get a claim check from the ticket taker person. They'll take your stroller right before you get on the plane, and when you land, your stroller will be there waiting for you when you get off the plane. It's great!
Also know that babies cry. If your baby starts to fuss and you can't get her to stop while you are in your seat, you can take her to the back of the plane where the flight attendants work and rock her. I've been on several flights with my young kids, and 99% of the time the flight attendants are very polite and accommodating in letting me stand back there and rock my little ones.
Her ears may hurt when the plane is landing. So be sure she is nursing, drinking from a bottle, or sucking on her pacifier when you are landing. The sucking will help the pressure in her ears.
Have fun - it's quite the adventure.

Your baby will need a car seat to go on the air plane. The car seat has to be airplane approved. Call the airline that you are flying with and make sure everything is ok. Not sure what to tell you about the bathroom situation. I wonder if they have wheelchair accessible bathrooms. I guess you will have to call them to find out.

It's nice when they are that young, if you have her in an infant carrier, just take her in with you and set it on the floor. You may need to use the handicapped stall for the extra room. I felt bad occupying it when I had to, but luckily no one else ever had to use it when I was. What gets harder is when they are too big for a carrier, but not old enough to stand yet! I never figured out how to handle that one, but luckily I never had to. You could even have her in a stroller and do the same.

well you will figure out that a mom can do amazing things with her new born. I learned to hold my daughter whenever i did anything. It was tough. But I had to do what I had to do. As far as being on the plane. As a flight attendant if by Chance she could hold your infant. They are used to it. My aunt was a flight attendant and would rather hold someones baby then have the baby get hurt in that little potty room. Most women jump at the chance to hold a baby. But as far as in the airport learn how to multi task.

i like the position youre going with this, i bypass college a lot. regularly if u bypass to ur mom nd say u dont sense properly, she shud enable united statesa. off college . If she doesnt enable u say youll be little need in college besides because your feeling ill, and also you wont be in a position to concentration.it truly works extra perfect in case you say sense ill the nighttime b4 so it doesnt arouse suspicion. Failing that, what ive performed some cases is fake notes from my moms and dads that are writen through friends saying i develop into ill the day surpassed by and didnt are available. Howver ive been stuck once and develop into in deep truble so i wouldnt propose it, in elementary words a very last hotel. I dont truly have the different options, the ill trick is the perfect i fink. besides good luck, wish it truly works! Elle, South dakota xxxxxxx

The only stupid question is the one not asked...now, do you have one of those car seats that detach from the base? You can just carry baby around in that. If not, alot of rest rooms have a baby changing station...often right in one of the stalls....strap her in that. Also, try looking into a "Snuggly" (I think thats what it is called) it is gets put on over your shoulder and it carries the baby right around your tummy area.

This sound so gross but I had one of those front carriers. I had to go to the restroom and I didn't know what to do. I ended up to sitting on the toilet with my son on my lap! LOL! That's what you have to do. Good Luck!
Also--if you need any advice on plane travel with a child--contact me. I know a lot about that--I've been traveling with my son since he was six weeks and I grew up as a traveler!

Since you're going to be there for an extended period of time, I assume she'll be in her stroller? In that case, use the handicapped stall and take her in with you.

I assume she will have her carseat to keep her in and you will just check that in planeside (when you board the plane they will take it from you).
Just go into the handicapped restroom so you have extra room and set her down on the floor (in the carseat, of course).....
