I am a Master Swimmer and Senior WSI Lifeguard. My best time underwater is 5 minutes 10 sec. On average I can swim for a little over 4 minutes underwater on a single breath. I am also a member of an underwater Synchronized Swim Team. Our entire performance is done underwater. The ladies I swim with are able to swim underwater for on average 3 minutes, maybe a little less.
