Totally! To be fair, all paleontology fascinates me, I think it's just the phenomenal diversity of life and the amazing paths that evolution has taken that really gets me going.

But dinosaurs were my way into the rest of paleontology - and so they'll always have a special place in my heart. I'm a neuroscientist now, but I regularly read the paleontology research papers in the journals Nature and Science despite the fact that they are completley irrelevant to what I do... And I frequently read other articles on dinosaurs when I come across them on science websites.

What's not to love?

The older I get the more fascinated I become by the diverse world before us.

It's amazing to me how many times nature has "rebooted" and gone down similar evolutionary paths during each mass extinction.

And now that my daughter is getting to experience the wonder of dinosaurs, it's been fun for me to run down the path again with her and learn more.

yes. We love to go to the canyonlands, and the arches in Utah. Big dinosaur country there. Elevation, 10,000 ft or so. Redrock ampitheatre in Colorado has an area with actual dinosaur imprints. Really cool!

i somewhat can not say why, yet you're perfect. I have 2 grandchildren (twins, a boy and a lady) they are practically 4 years previous and that i have practically each dinosaur caricature made. yet what am i able to assert, I take a seat perfect with them and watch only as a lot as they do. We also love Jurassic Park. My grandson expecially loves the T-Rex.

Of course they do, especially now that they have the whole hollow bond theory that would have made them the ancestors of birds. I love to see the dino tracks preserved in a creekbed near where I live

You bet. As do other fossils.

Geologist over 30 years and still love digging in the dirt to see what is there.

(Pays my bills, too.)
