I use Medela's pump in style advanced. It works really great for me. I've used the small piston manual pump it came with too. With the manual pump it takes me like 20 minutes to pump (just the one side), but with the electric pump it only takes like 10-15 minutes for both sides (pumping both sides at once). I definitely get better letdown with the electric pump and pumping both sides at once also improves my letdown and gives me more milk. I haven't pumped at work yet (start back next week) so I'm a little nervous about the noisiness of the pump (I work with mostly men, and I think I'll be teased) and finding a place to do it.
My sister used their single electric pump for her first and pumped full time at work and that worked for her, for her new baby she's going back to work earlier and got the pump in style advanced.
The only disadvantage is that you have to hold the breastshields up to your breasts to pump so it's tricky to turn the pump on and off. It would probably be easier to get one of those handsfree bustiers or things that attach to your bras, but so far I've decided to forgo that extra expense.

A lot of different pumps are made more different lifestyles.
If you are going back to work and are going to be pumping more than nursing i'd suggest the Medela. It runs for about $270. I have one. My baby is 8 months old and she is still nursing while i'm still pumping at work.
If you just want a pump to spend several hours away from your baby, then a cheaper Medela(manual or electric) will do. They run anywhere from 20 bucks to 80. Good luck

Medela Pump in Style if you're going to be pumping long term, or only pumping.
If you only need to pump to release a little milk before your baby starts sucking, then try the Avent Isis.
If you are going back to work to pump, I suggest you check out reviews on single electric pumps.
I loved the Avent Isis and the Medela Pump in Style.

My baby wouldn't nurse without a fight due to reflux, so I used the Medela Pump in Style. If you work, or plan on primarily pumping that is the way to go. I also used Ameda Purely yours, a friend let me borrow it since she had never used it. It took longer to get my milk to let down. but simple to use!!!!

I have a Medela dual electric pump. I loved it. It was about $250, but I used it for 13 months, so I know it more than paid for itself. I am ttc again, so I will be using it again.

OMG the AVENT manual pump was a life saver no kidding! I tryed five before I found this one, most of the electric were not strong enough to get the milk to drop. Plus it was so much faster. Good Luck...;-)

Arnold Swartzenager" I want to Pump You Up Breast Pump" is supposed to be the hot seller now. It is for charity. It has a pitcure of him when he was pumping weights right on it. It believe it cost $29.99 at Wallmart
For $39.99 you can get the steroid reduction kit with all the warning labels. PeeWEE Hermans body and Arnolds face is on the label.

Get the Medela breastpump. They are pricy, but I have heard that you can rent them.
