he surely did not take 35 painkillers and practice the next day. They did not induce vomiting (a local newswoman was at the hospital and claimed she "overheard" a doctor say that, but it never happened) two pills were never pried out of his mouth (you dont commit suicide 2 pills at a time). Why would a man who's biggest fault is being too honest in a world where all your allowed to say is the same cliches that have been said for 30 years suddenly become a liar?

"Aww too bad, no headlines on Sportscenter." (it was a main story on sportscenter)
"I don't the difference between vicodin & vitamins" (it was a hydrocodone but was not specified as vicodin and supplements not specified as vitamins)

It's the same thing the Michael Jackson saga was a couple of years ago (20 different shows showing off his stupid ranch...). T.O. is controversial; he is an AMAZING talent, and a slightly misunderstood, egoistic ******. And for some twisted reason, that stuff sells...

It comes down to one thing: MONEY.
Terrell Owens is news because he sells newspapers and brings in ratings for TV& radio. This is why there is and always will be media interest in him. The only thing that will end it is if HE either stops being a public spectacle or he goes over the edge and commits a serious enough offence that the public turns on him.
Only then will Owens become passe instead of instant spotlight material.

I don't think he is a liar. I am sure he was just taking painkillers to deal with his pain, and sometimes when pain is severe people may take more than they should. I don't think he tried to commit suicide...he just overdosed. But "overdosed" is such a loaded word ... no one wants to say that they OD'd.
I like T.O. I wish him all the best.
