Invaluable. Priceless. How else could we get more than one side of the story? Check other sources and see where the facts match up, make an informed decision before proclaiming your position.

I think the Internet is very valuable in getting a little furthur into the story.

pretty important. the 24 hour news channels were addicting. I had to get away from them. I know come to the Internet, get my news, and then research something that I care about.

Internet news suffers from lack of credibility, unless it is coming from the major news sources like Associated Press, CNN, BBC, FOX or whatever...those sources are questionable also.

very.. i don't watch TV i prefer to get my news off the internet. you have a better opportunity to get different perspectives on a situation and the information tends to be less hyper and influenced by govts.

vital since the 24 hour newscasts are owned by huge corporations, which probably wouldn't air news that affects their interests.

Yer there is more variety on the net, but it takes far more intellect to wade thru it than most people possess.
