You can wash whites with anything that won't bleed. You have to follow the washing instructions for the most delicate stuff in the washload... probably no hot water if you don't want the khakis to fade.

After a while, the whites might not look as bright, and you can then wash them by themselves with bleach or hot water or whatever you normally used to whiten them.

All-fabric bleach like Clorox 2 contains an additive to make whites and colors look brighter, if you want to do some enhancing.

Yes. I wash my work khaki's with whites all the time. Just don't use chlorine bleach, but instead use one that is safe for colors.
I'd wash the grays with like colors separately.

Sure, as long as you're not using bleach, as it would lighten the khakis. You can put light colors together. Some grays are light, and khakis are light, too. Cold water is best, esecially for dark colors, to avoid bleeding.

Personally I wouldn't chance it, I only wash white with white. Depends if the khaki/grey has a deep hue or not.

I put khaki's with whites, but no bleach.

I put greys in with my colors.

I don't see why not. I do it all the time but make sure you let the water run before you let them wash.

yea, definitely. just don't add any bleach. those are light colors, so you could wash with warm water.

I wouldn't recommend it. It tends to dull the whites.
