Ah, not talking about me. People in general. There are some who would scoff and roll their eyes and talk badly about people going to therapists.
But I should go, shouldn't I? *sigh*

It doesn't matter that some people don't believe in seeing a therapist. If you feel you need someone to talk with to help you with your problems, don't hesitate to get help. After all, God may send the help you need through therapy. Go for it!

of course not, it's the best thing I ever did and has made me into an optimistic and ambitious individual who sees the positive side to everything. Seeing a therapist will help you talk through and realise what's going on in your life and will give you the time and space to reflect and decide for yourself what steps to take in your life. Although it doesn't work for everyone it is worth trying as it will give you the strength and courage to deal with what ever life throws at you.

Not at all. We all have problems of some sort. You are very wise to seek help for yours.
God often works through therapists and such. God gave them the knowlege in the first place to be so smart. Do you think He didn't have a reason for this?

What is wrong with talking to someone who will listen to what you have to say??
Most people in the world could go for some of that!
Lose the 'shrink' mode & just go with an open mind. It may indeed help you to talk out the things bothering you.

People who don't believe in seeking help are small minded. If you feel like you need help, by all means see and therapist, counseler, minister, psychiatrist or whomever you feel comfortatble with.

Not at all, sometimes getting help or improving things is just a matter of bouncing your problems off a third party who is unbiased. There are ususally religious counselors too, if you're still wanting your recovery to be spiritual.

No, its a good option if you are willing to be helped by a therapist... they are not magic pills where the act of seeing them will help. You have to commit and trust them to help you HELP YOURSELF. In the end, all changes must stem within you after all...

Yes, it is wrong to see a therapist. It is right to stay crazy. Who's a psychiatrist to tell you what's wrong and what's right? They invent illnesses. On a desert island, if you have cancer, you have cancer. But if you are insane, and no therapist is there to tell you, then you're not insane. It takes one person to have a real disease, and two people to have a mental illness.
Geez! I'm only joking people! Why so many thumbs downs?? Go see a therapist if you think it will help! Talking out your problems usually does help!
