I have lived there for 12 years, and I'm 14. I know where it is, I just wanted to see how many people have been there.

I've been to both Hyder and Stewart. Small little towns, a dry goods store, a few houses on the main road with more back in the woods.

Temperate rainforest like Prince Rupert or Ketchikan - big trees, lots of rain and eagles.

Seen the TV show Northern Exposure? Smaller than that fictional town.

What else did you want to know?

I have been to Hyder. And been Hyderized. Yeah, Hyder is near Stewart, across the boarder on the Panhandle between BC and Alaska. It is a 3 - 3 1/2 hour drive North from Terrace. I use to live in Prince Rupert, and camped in the Stewart area a couple of times.

Sechelt I haven't been. I am likely to go sometime soon. I live on Vancouver Island and a high school friend lives near Sechelt in Gibsons.

Never been there, but I heard not much there... I have lived on the Queen Charlotte Is. BC and been to southern Alaska though. Stick to places like Vancouver... Very nice.

Sechelt is beautiful. Its only a 30 minute ferry ride up the coast from Vancouver. It is part of the mainland. Not an island.Sechelt is not near Stewart , it is way south.

I live in Anchorage, Alaska, but have never been to Hyder. From what I hear, there is certainly not much there.
