Your doctor is right. The pubococcygeus (PC) muscles will tighten with excercises. They are easy to do just squeeze the muscles and then release and repeat. The PC muscles arent just for your sexuality...you use them to urinate, have intercourse, orgasm, have bowel movements, and deliver babies. So doing them while pregnant will help during your delivery. I included a website to help with the kegel exercises. Hope it helps.
-Congrats on the baby!

Kegel's also help with delivery... the stronger the PC muscles... the easier it is to push.

Every time you find yourself at a red light or bored on the computer, just do a few of them. Try to do them in "levels" too... think of an elevator... start at the bottom and work your way up and then back down again. Don't forget to hold them there too!

Just consider kegel excercise as physical therapy to get you toned internally. A man enjoys sex more with a woman who can contract her internal muscles tightly while he is inside.

Let your husband be the judge if it works!!!

Yes its true. And there are muscles there just like everwhere else in the body. You'll be an expert lover once you've mastered kegels.

Don't know. I never could remember to do them. My hub didn't complain about being loose though. However, I got urinary incontinence, and the doc says Kegels would have helped strengthen the muscles and maybe avoided that. So, if you can remember to do them, do them.

That is true as it tightens the PC muscle (It's a long word and I never spell it right)

Yes it is true. The PC muscles contract when you do the exercise hence, help the vagina to regain its elasticity.

Yes, they work. How? Just like any other muscle group. You work them, they get stronger.

Yes, they work. Your husband or boyfriend would probably enjoy it if you did them while having s-e-x. It's a nice sensation.
