Personally, the time to ask that question is done. It should have been asked in 2003 prior to authorizing action. It is my opinion that, whether the current was rightly or wrongly taken is counter productive.

The question now is "how do we successfully finish what we started?" or "How do we withdraw while still ensuring the security of America?"

No I do not think so. I have never gotten a good explanation for the reason we are. Bush never made any believable connection between 9/11 and the war in Iraq. It is certainly unfortunate. How must the rest of the world view us for the way 9/11 was handled. I know that we are not the only country in the world regardless of how we like to think we are the only people that have a right to anything. two more years and we will be done.

NO! Under no circumstances. There were never any WMD's and Bush and Company knew it. It was an excuse.
We have just made terrorism worse.
How many people would be alive today had Bush never been in office? That is what I ask myself.

We should not be babysitting Iraq. Do you really think Bush wants a truly Democratic Iraq that might nationalize their oil resources.

Killing those who want to kill us, you mean? Yes, I think so. Why should we always have to take the first punch?
