I have a 1999 year Silverado and wantin a Chip for it, what kind should I get?

super chip are the bested out thare and I'm only telling you becouse you Drive a GM.

Well, first, I'd have to say a real one, not those $20 "chips" that pop up on ebay all the time and are actually resistors.

Ideally, you'll want one custom made to match whatever other mods are on your truck. If your engine is stock, there isn't much to be gained, and if it is modified, a chip for the wrong mods can do more harm than good.

I would agree with Mrs. F. However, you can install a high performance chip in it. When I say this, I'm assuming you mean a PROM. (Programmable Read Only Memory).
Most PROMS are designed for fuel delivery purposes. Some are programed to retard the timing at high speeds. So you don't kill yourself, some-one else or ruin the car.
A high performance PROM doesn't do that.

None...my husband had a venom ship in his car and it caused nothing but problems
