There is a limit to the number of songs you can play at high quality. The actual limit changes periodically, but it generally around 500. When you hit the limit, you're given the option to sign up for LAUNCHcast Plus or to continue listening to only "My Station" at a lower quality, without skipping for the remainder of the month.

P.S. The other answer about Yahoo! only allowing partial songs is not accurate in LAUNCHcast radio, which offers the full songs.
