My brother went to "Full Sail" and has been working in games ever since. I don't know how it compares to other colleges, but if you are looking for a school for 3d animation that is closeby and has a better reputation, you could apply to Ringling.

My sister went there to get her degree in directing and she wont ever use it...Really it just depends on what you go there for. Her friend went for stage lighting and he has a job and travels on tour all the time with a lot of famous singers. he gets paid pretty good to. I think my sisters tuition ran around $35,000 if I am correct and to her I think it was a rip off b/c she wont ever use her degree. on the other hand its a neat school on the inside all futuristic.
