My husband is a scorpio and my daughter is a cancer?

Question

why are they constantly clashing???? I am an Aries.....what can I do to balance them out? she is not a teen yet she is only 6 she doesn't curse or anything, she is a good kid but she lie's alot, and he yells alot . They are driving me crazy..... he gets upset about every thing she does because he says she knows better?? there signs are suppose to be good together wat is the problem??

coming from an astrological point only: Cancerians are very sensitive and family is most important to them. The only reason a 6 yr. cancer (or probably any kid) would lie, isn't to be vindictive but because they think that they won't be liked/loved as much if they told the truth. And Scorpio is always out to get to the truth. They are both very intuitive. There isn't a lot of room here for the "no nonsense" Aries. let them work it out. My daughter is cancer her step-dad is Scorpio I'm thankful for his understanding and PATIENTS with her. Yelling only makes it worse for cancer (and probably all children again) I've heard they need lots of hugs to keep them running and hiding in their shell. As far as their shell goes it is part of them. home is where their pride is.

Personally I think understanding all traits is help full in understanding people of all types. It shouldn't be allowed to stereotype people by what month they're born in.

hehe I'm a scorpio and my dad's a cancer and we've had a very rocky history lol. I've gotten calmer over the years but something that cancerians do often is that when they're mad, they just keep it in. Then blow up about it later. You should encourage your husband to confront the daughter about his feelings calmly. Little scorpios and even big scorpios like to feel like they are extremely wise, no matter what. And when they're 'wisdom' is being challenged, they will get defensive lol. Sometimes they will even make up things to make sure they still look wise and righteous. So try to make sure when you talk to her you aren't bruising her ego.

P.S: There is a commonality between water signs...they're very intuitive and I think because they're so in tune with one another, they can VERY easily find one another's buttons, and push them when necessary. So once those buttons stop being pushed (lol), things will probably look up

I suggest you talk to your daughter about lieing. i know as a cancer that we can be very influenced by our family, more so our mothers. i can see where the fallout is though, Scorpios absolutly hate being lied to (almost all of my best friends are scorpios).

being a cancer though, ive lied aswell, usualy when i went into that famous cancer shell. i would ask your husband to try and figure out what made her go into "hiding" and lie like she did.

tell your SCORPIO PRICK hubby that yelling is ABUSE. Put him in his place,and that yes, lying is bad. At the age of 6, he should be a caring,GENTLE father,not yelling at her. he is setting her up to to be shy,upset,and later on in life,a cutter,depressed,or have an eating disorder. NOW is the time to put an end to it all, before it gets out of hand. He should not yell at a 6 year old! he should know better!!! Try yelling at him,and let him see what it feels like. I know several aries women and they are control freaks like me. They rule their own home,and that is what you should do.( I am an aquarian,btw Hubby is an aries, daughter is a cancer,and yes she is sensitive, and scorpios sting is one I try avoid,) I am also a control freak,and when my hubby gets out of line,I am quick to put him back in!! my dad is a scorpio n my little sis is a cancer....they share a very cute father daughter relationship.....however, even my sis thinks she knows better than dad...n often this causes them to fight with each other...when i analyzed her character i found out that she's impatient by nature....she doesn't like anyone to slow her down n yes she wants to learn everything by herself. but its not something that is to be taken seriously.....but yes if your kid is lying to her dad it might be because she is afraid of his temper or she is been influenced by other kids....talk to her about it. cancer kids are very sensitive and understanding...they don't want to hurt anyone...n they will do anything that will make their family happy.

they should be compatable but Scorpios can sting when mad and firstborns are more strongwilled than secondborns...try to compromise whenever possible but you are the parents...there must be guidelines and rules for her to learn responsibility...my parents had your match and they beat the odds Just understand he is a deep spiritual thinker
