It's your lucky day! I am about to tell you about the most awesome physics project ever. Drum roll please........
- THE ALCOHOL CANNON- First, what you will need in order to build it. - 1 empty 2 litre plastic soda bottle
- 1 automotive coil
- 1 12 volt auto battery or equivalent transformer.
- 1 12 volt DC single throw switch
- 1 cork (regular or rubber)
- 1 small bottle of methanol
- 2 nails
- 1 small spool of wire

Directions - First, insert the nails into the plastic bottle, from opposite sides, push them in until they are almost, but not quite touching. Hook the coil to the battery, with the switch in between, and then the nails (electrodes) to the coil, Fill the bottle with a tablespoonfull of Methanol, plug the bottle with the cork, wait a few moments for the methanol to evaporate inside the bottle, as well as for the coil to take a charge. (Optional - aim the cannon at the girl that took your boyfriend) and flip the switch!
Important - make sure to use Methanol, not Ethanol.

Try creating a scale model trebuchet (treh-boo-SHAY). It is a medieval French catapult... but it is freaky to see one work. It is not just a straight-forward slingshot approach. It uses gravity, torque, angular motion and inertia/momentum in a deceptively complex yet simple way. They made them back when castles were the big thing, so they can't have been that technically advanced, right? I think you (an 11th grader) could do it. And it would be unique, if done well.

in case you have a laser pointer and a mirror you may take a photograph of the laser easy being pondered on an identical attitude it hits the mirror. Use some smoke to make the ray seen (you may ask somebody who smokes cigarettes to blow the smoke in direction of the mirror). yet another undertaking you may do is electrify a balloon or a plastic tube with the help of rubbing it against some fabric or your hair and then carry it on the threshold of a skinny string of water popping out the sink. The water will bend in direction of the balloon/tube. you are able to take a photograph of that. in case you have a magnifying glass you may element it at something that's style of further away. The glass will turn each thing the different way up. ...or use it to pay interest solar rays onto paper to make it burn. something fairly undemanding is to take a photograph of two persons with regard to an identical weight sitting on a see-observed protecting the stability. wish this helps. stable luck!
