Sure can......keep washing them and putting them in the dryer.....denim does have some slight ability to give so it may stretch again....but just keep washing and drying...it will shrink.

I like the first answer (from "Turbothru...") and gave him a thumbs-up. To add a little more, wash denim (or any cotton fabric) with the hot water setting, and dry in a hot dryer. That's gonna shrink it about as much as possible.

Do an fairly chilly, to reasonably chilly wash to cut back them. diverse circumstances would nicely be needed. f you soak it in somewhat chilly water, the denims wills till lose a lot of indigo because it shocks the textile (very resembling wool in somewhat chilly water shrinks it more beneficial than warm water). Your suitable wager for maxim shrinkage is to soak it in tepid water... room temperature, for a pair of hours, and the water will loosen up the stress contained in the textile. Then take it out, do not wring it press it or attempt to manually get rid of the water, only cling them up through the hem and organize the denim so it really isn't any longer all wrinkly (till you want it to crinkle up at the same time as dry) and only enable it drip dry. you'll probable be conscious somewhat indigo loss, it somewhat is somewhat no longer avoidable... yet probable received't make any distinction. Dryers will decrease in spite of the indisputable fact that it also will cut back the flexibility of the textile if the warm temperature is somewhat intense. with the exception of, you would get some undesirable wrinkled elements or fuzziness on the exterior of the cotton. i'd stay away from dryers as a lot as i will.

No actually you can't shrink denim. You can feel the illusion of shrinkage right after you wash them and you wear them again but the tightness only last a couple minutes. Denim will not only NOT shrink it will most probably stretch tiny bit.
If it really needs to be smaller, go to a professional tailor to get it fit on you better.

Wash in hot hot water and dry the same matter in high heat setting. Sometimes it is pre-shrunk and or it has that 1-2%spanax in it that give it tht extra give. So, look on the label. If 100% cotten-you are in luck. Just wash and dry in the super hot settings?

not permanently
jeans always feel tighter after they've been in the tumble but the nature of the fabric means it will give (stretch) eventually
