Yup. Wayne State University, which is right near downtown Detroit, Michigan, has an EXCELLENT reputation for both its School of Business and its School of Law. The University of Michigan gets most of the limelight in this state, but what really makes the difference is almost all of the professors at Wayne State have actually worked in their area of speciality outside the college before becoming professors (unlike U of M, where the vast majority of their professors never left college -- they went from being students to professors).

Univeristy of Texas in Austin is in the top 10 for both business and law. The accounting program at UT Austin is ranked #1.

The University of Georgia (Athens) has a phenomenal business school and law school. It is also one of the best-value schools in the US.
