Yes they do. If you wash immediately with oxyclean it might come out completely.

No matter how "stainless" the crayon marker says it is, the red and purple will stain!
My 3 year old decorated the back of my cream fabric sofa with Crayola markers and crayons of all colors. I tried two removers; acetone (nail polish remover) and unbranded pump hairspray (which works on ball-point ink). Both worked equally well.

It depends.. the newer craola markers DO NOT leave stains but it will say so on the box... the older craolas leave stains that are very difficult to wash off.

Crayons, Wax
Remove excess with dull knife. Sponge with dry-cleaning solvent or use prewash spray. Rinse with water. Apply detergent to stain. Launder, using hot water and chlorine bleach, if safe for fabric.
Crayon (Load of Clothes)
Scrape off excess with dull knife. Dry-clean in a coin-operated machine or take to a professional dry cleaner, explain what has happened, and request bulk cleaning. If stains still remain, fill washer with hot water. Add a water softener to hard water. Use the amount of SOAP for a washer load. Add 1 cup baking soda. Run washer for 10 minutes. If stain remains, work in soap paste. Run machine for 5 min. Launder as usual.

It just depends on if they are washable. I have come to learn that GooGone can take care of just about anything, and it has never harmed my clothing.
