Be happy!!! My mother only gained 12 pounds her whole pregnancy. I've gained 30 so far *I am 8 months pregnant*. Don't worry though... you gain the most weight between 27-30 weeks. I packed on 7 pounds every week during 27-30 weeks. I was only about 16 pounds heavier at 25 weeks. You may have a massive weight gain coming up in a couple weeks.... I did.

Hi. Do you feel like you have had a healthy pregnancy i.e. eating right and exercising? It seems funny that your Dr. has not commented on it though. I lost 15 pounds during my first 12 weeks, and have only gained 3 pounds since (I'm 14 now) because I could actually eat! So from my start weight, I'm not sure I will gain all that much either. If you're worried, the best bet is to call the Dr. and see what they say. Good luck!

the norm is 20- 30 lbs for the whole pregnancy, so so far i Think you are doing great. The baby grows like crazy in the 6 th and 7th month you need to eat healthy to maintain a good weight and get lots of rest. I had gained about 17lbs by 25 weeks now I'm 32 weeks and when I was last weighed at 30 weeks my doctor said I had gained 55lbs in all not good for me, but tests are being done so watch what you eat. and congrats good luck

I'm at 29 weeks and have actually LOST 25 pounds. As long as the baby is developing properly don't worry about it. It isn't a goal point or anything to gain 20-30 pounds just the average that most women do. It'll just be less to lose after birth. As long as your doctor isn't concerned-you shouldn't be either. Congrats!!

It depends on your body, your diet, and your degree of morning sickness. I had morning sickness until I was 24 weeks along (just feeling really sick, not throwing up every day). It wasn't until AFTER it had passed that I began to gain weight. My DRs didn't seem too concerned about it and just told me to eat healthy foods with lots of fat. (Cheese, dairy, etc.) If you have really bad morning sickness, the DRs can give you a medicine to help you keep your food down.

If your Body Mass Index (BMI) was high beforehand, you don't need to gain as much weight.

Just remember that the baby is really small right now. 10lbs sounds like a normal/healthy amount to have gained by now. You'll gain a lot more weight in the next 2 months.

Be sure to eat healthy and that's all you can do.

It all depends on your size before you get pregnant. If you are smaller it is okay to gain more weight. However, if you are bigger boned like I am I was told only to gain 20 to 30 pounds with my pregnancy. I would consult your doctor and he/she should be able to tell you how much weight that they want you to gain.

You are a little under weight. Average weight gain for 25 wks is 14-20 lbs. But if your doctor hasn't said anything then you are fine. As long as your uterus is growing at a normal rate you are all good. Just be happy you dont weigh a ton!! lol, Good luck with the baby.

Everyone is different. I was underweight when i got prego with my daughter and I gained 50 lbs. This time around I am 18 weeks and I have gained only 11 lbs so far.....it all depends on your body - I wouldnt worry too much - but talk to your dr about it.

I am 16 weeks and my doctor told me the following if you are underweight you should gain 28 to 40 lbs, if you are normal weight 25 to 35 lbs, and if you are overweight 15 to 25 lbs hope that helps
