What affect does televison have on children's listening skills?

It doesn't just affect children's listening skills. It is difficult for anyone to focus on anything with the tv turned on.

As a kid, I knew I was in deep trouble when my mom would turn off the tv. This is what parents should do instead of coddling their kids with technology.

Kids need boundaries and parents have to be consistant.
