In a post-apocolyptic world with none of our modern conveniences, what would you miss most? Would it be something big, like cars, or something smaller, like hot showers? Medical care during childbirth? Or restaurants? Television, movies, radio?

Not much really. I have the knowledge and skill to recreate the "non-essential needs" from scratch, such as running hot water. I suppose I would miss music, so I guess I should go bury my CD collection deep in the earth.

Music. If there were no radios, stereos, Discman's, ipods, etc. and no radio stations to play music - I think I could die from boredom. I listen to the radio everyday of my life! I think I could manage without everything else you listed....one way or another.

Not having medical care would concern me, since I have a small child.

mine would be a hot shower...I take at least 3 showers a day
or maybe my coffee pot...that would be bad too
