Acting like a desperate to be cool person to get young people's attention, knowing how annoying that is.

Or, intentionally being an obnoxious tourist, such as faking the accents in the given country.

Would I be evil if I did both, or is one enough?

Oh, go for both. If you're going to do it, do it all the way!

Oh for me it's definitely the obnoxious tourist thing because it's just so phony! Trying to be important or trying to get to know someone important just so that they can go brag about it later. It literally makes me ill.

When I use to party hard back in the day, my best girlfriend felt that because she was a singer on stage, she had to know all of the important people which seemed logical at the time because she was trying to get her career going as a singer. But I use to allow her to drag me to all of these parties where the famous would hang out. I use to want to vomit just being around those people. So in retrospect I think this would annoy me most.

Oh no, one is enough. But it tends to work if you do the cool stuff in a deliberately cheesy "I know I'm old and pathetic, but it's funny" kind of way.

As for the faking accents... well... I dunno. When I go overseas, I prefer to have a little of the language, even if it's just hello, goodbye, where's the bathroom and your fly is open...

Intentionally being an obnocious tourist. That is for losers.

Trying to be cool to get younger people to hang around you is pathic.

Nothing is more annoying to locals in foreign territory than hearing you ramble about being AMERICAN. Especially in Europe. They hate Americans and the USA.

One is quite enough, but I wouldn't call the first sadistic. It is just stupid.
