In order to undergo the individuation process, the individual must be open to the parts of oneself beyond one's own ego. In order to do this, the modern individual must pay attention to dreams, explore the world of religion and spirituality, and question the assumptions of the operant societal worldview (rather than just blindly living life in accordance with dominant norms and assumptions).- carl jung
in order to embrace our life all parts of our life and truely enjoy life we must embrace all parts of our lives even the unknown. i recomend a book very short one about 17 pages "life after death" by carl jung

Once a person dies they get a new life in another place. Maybe your ex is trying to tell you that she is OK where ever she is. My father died five years ago and I dream all the time that he is still alive, so much so that when I wake up I forgot that he died and then it hits me like a ton of bricks that he is dead.

II interpret dreams. Got this as a legacy from my Mom. Dreaming of death does not mean you are going to die and come into life in another form. It simply means that you're either worrying too much/ are under stress or, are thinking of someone who's already dead or is in trouble. Usually, when you eat too much, you also dream dead of yourself or someone else. Dreaming dead of yourself also stands for your long and healthy life. Don't worry, you're perfectly alright. Stay well!!

are you going through some major changes in your life right now? i know that when things in waking life are changing or out of control, i dream about tornadoes, like clockwork. or if you're lonely or depressed that may be another reason. maybe you're not in a relationship right now and you miss your ex... thinking about her subconsciously lately?
anyway, i hope things settle down for you. i wouldn't put too much thought into your dreams. the thought of them might just disrupt your waking life and add a whole new problem to the mix!

when you dream of death it doesn't mean you or anyone else is going to die. i read somewhere before that it means "birth", so maybe someone in your family will have a baby.

dreaming about death is not what it means.. its usually a sign that your life will take a different direction.. death of one part of life, and a new beginning.
