YOU BET IT IS. There are many who wonder the same thing, What happened to Thanksgiving. Honestly, aren't we thankful for anything? Have the commercials convinced us that a holiday isn't important unless we get a present, candy or anything else superficial? LET'S BRING BACK THE FAMILY GET TOGETHER CALLED THANKSGIVING!

I think it is way too early. I also was in K-Mart about 2 or 3 weeks ago and they had Halloween and Christmas things set up next to each other.

Corporations are about money. Christmas has become so commercialized that the corporations are trying to squeeze as much as they can out of it. It is up to consumers, if they are already in spending mode and gung-ho to start Christmas shopping, then K Mart is right. Milk them for all they are worth!

Yes, it is far too early. No one takes the time to enjoy the fall holidays or even the season itself. I refuse to even think about Christmas until Thanksgiving is over.

I couldn't agree more. I hate that they rush Christmas and totally forget Thanksgiving. Which by the way is my favorite holiday next to Easter.

Some people like to spread out their Christmas spending cause they live on budgets. So, these stores that target those with lower budgets know this and start putting items out earlier.

I feel you on that, but I actually went to a store once and saw them putting up Christmas stuff in the aisles in JULY! (I couldn't make this up!)
Christmas is my favorite holiday, but I don't think other holidays should be overlooked to get to it!
Excellent point!

I totally agree, Wallmart does it too and many other stores. I guess they don't feel Halloween and Thanksgiving are important anymore.
